  • Bring your pump for a hands-on group assessment and learning.

We will pump together in a safe space! This will take about 30 minutes (as a group) as I go around and assess.

  • You can get to have your nipples measured on the spot to determine if the flange you're currently using is suitable or not.

  • During the session, mothers will have the opportunity to try out a selection of good-working breast pumps, generously provided by Happy Renting SG, a local pump rental service run by a husband-and-wife team.

All pump parts and accessories are pre-washed and sterilized for each use. If another mother wishes to try the same pump, parts will be sanitized again on-site to ensure safety and hygiene.

All pumps are available for rental subject to availability. For more details on terms and conditions for shared pump use and rentals, see the FAQ below.

  • All pumping mothers unite! We will learn and pump together as a group.

“I was thrilled to be able to attend the 1st Pumping 101 workshop by Eliza. The session is very informative and I am able to confirm that the flange size is right for me to help me yield more breastmilk without compromising the comfort as being an EP.

The group is very supportive and it was a very conducive safe space for the mummies to pump and try out various pump machines. I would truly recommend mothers who are pumping to attend this workshop and get the most out of each pump session as it is something especially for EP to do it 6-8 times a day when attending to newborn.

Thanks Eliza for the workshop and looking forward to many more workshops that can help breastfeeding mothers.”

Imagine this…

You get to be in a comfortable and safe space, a relaxing atmosphere where you can openly pump and learn without judgment. That's the magic I’m bringing to this workshop!

“As an IBCLC, I've seen firsthand the challenges many pumping mothers face.

This workshop is essential to provide the support, education, and practical guidance needed to build confidence and success.

I want to create a safe and supportive environment for moms to learn together, and to empower you to achieve your personal pumping goals.”

— Eliza, Founder of Tender Loving Milk, IBCLC

Love notes from mums who attended!

  • Highly recommend all mummies to attend this workshop! I struggled deeply with my pump/pumping for about a month and there is not enough information or help out there to get your pump /settings assessed and I'm glad I chanced upon this workshop. Eliza is very experienced, knowledgeable and the workshop is extremely informative and helpful for my pumping journey. It is a total life changer for both my bb and my mental health. Highly recommend!

  • Really happy that there is such course (more like a relaxing exchanging of knowledge) here in singapore. Brownie points are that you are also able to try out other pumps that are available in the market. Thank you Eliza and Felicia.

  • Attended pumping 101 workshop by Eliza today as I was struggling with the sizing and whether or not I am doing it correctly. Rather than searching for the info online with so many people saying different things, I would highly recommend to attend this workshop especially for first time mums. Thankyou Eliza for the knowledge and advice!

    - LT

  • Eliza was so helpful and friendly in helping me troubleshoot my pumping issues, have noticed my yield improving since switching to my correct flange size. She was absolutely amazing in ensuring that we feel welcomed and that it was a safe space to share our issues, would definitely recommend! :)

  • The workshop was packed with so much information that even as a STM, I've learnt so many new things. Generally breastpump are expensive and it's a process of trial and error. I love that there were many different pumps to try and even rent during the workshop, so I can find out which one is suitable for me before I make my purchase. Thanks for organising this workshop!

  • I attended the pumping 101 workshop by TLM. Enjoyed the session and learn alot through the session from eliza and from other mummies. Very informative. Trying/renting of different pumps was available for the session. Which is good for mummies to try out. Will definitely recommend TLM.

 FAQs

  • Nope =)

This workshop is all about supporting moms who pump! I’m not here to promote any specific pump brands.

I definitely don't think pumping is better than breastfeeding, but it can be a necessary option for some mothers for a variety of reasons.

My goal is to provide helpful information and resources to support you, whether pumping is your choice or your necessity, so you can feel confident on your journey!

  • Yes, it’s strongly recommended to bring your own pump.

  • Yes! The pumps available to try are in good and working condition. The pumps are also available for rental (depending on availability) from Happy Renting SG.

Tender Loving Milk is not involved in the rental process for breast pumps.

    Important notes:

    • Single-User Pumps: Most breast pumps are intended for single-user use. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advises that these pumps can be difficult to fully clean and disinfect for multiple users, which is why they’re generally recommended for individual use.

    • Rental Provider Responsibility: Reliable rental providers typically take responsibility for thoroughly cleaning and regularly inspecting their pumps and accessories.

    • Personal Discretion: Renting a breast pump is entirely your choice and at your discretion. However, please keep in mind that sharing a single-user pump may impact manufacturer support. For any issues with the rental pump, you’ll work directly with the rental company for assistance.

    • Type of pumps that may be available to try during this workshop (subject to availability): Spectra, Imani, S39, Loveamme, Haenim, Baby Budhha, etc.

  • Bringing more than one pump is optional. Ideally, to ensure the best outcome and keeping to the workshop duration, the maximum number of pumps to bring is two.

  • Mothers will be openly pumping. Therefore, no male partners are allowed.

We are a lesbian-friendly community. Your female partner (+ $45) is welcome to join, as long as she is part of your family network as a spouse/partner, taking care of baby as well.

    • For additional female spouse, please sign up as per normal and email hello@tenderlovingmilk.com with the name and email of your partner. Payment details will be sent to you thereafter.

  • Yes, you may.

  • Suggested items to bring, but no pressure if you don't have:

    • Extra flange sizes that you currently have but confused which one fits

    • Nursing bra with the clip

  • No refunds are allowed.

You are free to pass on your slot to another mother (you have to find yourself) or re-book another slot for our next similar event. We are thinking to make this a monthly event.
