The postpartum period is one of the most transformative seasons of your life.

At Tender Loving Milk, we believe no mother should have to navigate this journey alone, which is why we’re introducing our Mini 30-day, Signature 100-day, or All-In VIP 6 Months postpartum support package.

Whether you are…

✓ Breastfeeding

✓ Exclusively pumping

✓ Combination feeding

✓ Supplementing with formula

✓ Exclusively formula feeding

✓ Preparing to wean

Our team of International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) provides evidence-based, personalised support for families throughout the postpartum period.

We are here to support your feeding goals without judgment.

Our goal is to help every family feed their baby confidently through our Mini 30-Day or Signature 100-Day postpartum support packages.

Your Baby’s Feeding Patterns May Change Every Week

One of the most common questions we hear is:

"Can't I just book one lactation consultation?"

For some families, one consultation may be enough.

However, many parents discover that new challenges emerge as their baby grows.

The reality is that babies develop rapidly during the first few months.

What works at 1 week old may not work at 3 weeks old.

What works at 6 weeks old may not work at 12 weeks old.

What Mums Are Saying

“I gave myself one last attempt to seek help from an LC for the challenges I was facing. I engaged two LCs prior, but the experience with Eliza was significantly different and better! She is such a GEM, patient and passionate!”

— Esther C.

“The session with Eliza was so informative and thorough, I cannot recommend her enough. Her assessment and advice were very spot on, and all the potential solutions we discussed have been extremely helpful.”

— Smriti T.

“I had a home consult to check on my baby's latch and oral functions. Eliza was very professional and made me feel comfortable when I was at my most vulnerable! She also follows up with a detailed summary through email and a support WhatsApp group chat. She answered all my questions and was really helpful. It is worth consulting whether you're a first-time mum or a seasoned one :).”

— A.H.

Is getting milk-booster supplements and lactation massage enough?

Many families spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on lactation supplements, lactation drinks, cookies, teas, or repeated lactation massage sessions, hoping to improve milk supply, relieve clogged ducts, or solve feeding challenges.

While these approaches may play a supportive role for some, they often focus on the symptom rather than the underlying cause.

✔️ Breastfeeding & Milk Transfer
✔️ Infant Oral Function
✔️ Infant Body Function & Feeding Dynamics
✔️ Maternal Factors Affecting Feeding
✔️ Clinical Pumping Assessment
✔️ Complex Feeding Situations

What Can TLM IBCLCs Clinically Assess?

Why Work With a TLM IBCLC If I Already Have a Confinement Nanny?

One of the most common questions we hear from Singapore parents is:

"I already have a confinement nanny. Do I still need an IBCLC?"

The answer is that confinement nannies and IBCLCs serve different roles, and many families benefit from having both.

While a confinement nanny may share very basic breastfeeding advice based on experience, an IBCLC is trained to clinically assess feeding challenges, identify underlying causes, and develop evidence-based feeding plans tailored to your individual situation.

TLM IBCLCs Can Assess More Than Just Breastfeeding

  • Feeding efficiency (breast and bottle)

  • Causes of breast and nipple pain

  • Recurring blocked ducts

  • Risks factors for mastitis

  • Tongue function and mobility impacting feeding

  • Jaw, neck, and shoulder tensions that are impacting comfort

  • Realistic pumping expectations

And more…

During the first 100 days, your baby changes rapidly.

Why Ongoing Professional Support Matters

At 1 week old, you may be focused on:

  • Establishing milk supply

  • Learning to latch

  • Understanding newborn feeding patterns

By 4 to 6 weeks, new questions often emerge:

  • Why is my baby suddenly feeding so frequently?

  • Is this cluster feeding normal?

  • Why is my pumping output changing?

  • How do I introduce a bottle?

By 8 to 12 weeks, parents may start thinking about:

  • Returning to work

  • Building a milk stash

  • Maintaining milk supply while pumping

  • Combination feeding

  • Feeding distractions and changing feeding behaviours

The support you needed during Week 1 is often very different from the support you need during Week 12.

Why Singapore Families Choose Tender Loving Milk

At Tender Loving Milk, our role is not to tell you how you should feed your baby. Our role is to help you understand your options, navigate challenges, and create a feeding plan that works for your baby, your family, and your lifestyle.

We support breastfeeding mothers...

Our goal is not just to simply to help you breastfeed longer. Our goal is to help you breastfeed comfortably, effectively, and confidently while meeting your family's feeding goals.
We help with concerns such as painful latch, nipple pain, low or oversupply, clogged ducts, engorgement, breast refusal, milk transfer concerns, and breastfeeding after a difficult birth.

We support pumping mothers…

Unfortunately, many pumping mothers receive little professional guidance despite the significant time and effort involved. Our IBCLCs can provide clinical pumping assessments and personalised pumping plans to help optimise milk removal and reduce unnecessary stress.
We can help with flange sizing, pumping education, low pumping output concerns, and more.

We support combination-feeding mothers…

We support families who choose combination feeding for any reason. You will receive guidance on supplementing when medically indicated, bottle feeding assessments, responsive bottle feeding techniques, formula preparation guidance, and creating mixed feeding plans that work for your family's needs.

Your Emotional Wellbeing Matters Too

Our Postpartum Support Packages include motherhood coaching sessions alongside professional IBCLC lactation support. To our knowledge, Tender Loving Milk is one of the few IBCLC-led postpartum support services in Singapore that integrate motherhood coaching into their packages.

See Eliza’s media feature here by Channel News Asia about Motherhood Coaching.

  • As IBCLCs, we regularly support mothers facing challenges such as:

    • Low milk supply

    • Painful latch

    • Recurrent clogged ducts

    • Pumping challenges

    • Bottle refusal

    • Combination feeding concerns

    • Return-to-work planning

    • Weaning decisions

However, what we often hear beneath these feeding concerns are questions such as:

    "Am I doing enough?"

"Why do I feel like everyone else is coping better than me?"

"I feel guilty when I need to give formula."

    "I'm constantly second-guessing myself."

"I don't feel like myself anymore."

The first 100 days postpartum can be one of the most emotionally demanding periods of motherhood.

    Feeding support addresses the feeding.

    Motherhood coaching supports the mother.

  • The first six months after birth are often a period of significant adjustment.

    Many mothers are simultaneously navigating:

    • Physical recovery from birth

    • Sleep deprivation

    • Breastfeeding or pumping challenges

    • Relationship changes

    • Shifting family dynamics

    • Returning to work

    • Loss of personal time

    • Identity changes

    • Increased mental load and responsibilities

Even when feeding is going well, many mothers still feel overwhelmed.

And when feeding challenges arise, stress and self-doubt can quickly escalate.

Having professional support for both feeding and emotional wellbeing can make a significant difference during this transition.

  • Included in both our Signature 100-Day and All-In VIP Motherhood Mastery Postpartum Support Packages.

Your coaching sessions are conducted by Eliza, a Certified Mastery Method Coach who has coached and supported more than 100 mothers through different stages of motherhood.

These sessions provide a dedicated space to focus on you, not just your baby.

    Topics may include:

✓ Building confidence as a mother

    ✓ Managing mum guilt

    ✓ Navigating feeding-related stress

    ✓ Setting realistic expectations

    ✓ Creating sustainable routines

✓ Managing overwhelm and mental load

    ✓ Improving communication and boundaries

✓ Returning to work with confidence

✓ Rebuilding self-trust in your parenting decisions

✓ Thriving in motherhood, not simply surviving it

Every coaching conversation is personalised to your unique circumstances and goals.

  • At Tender Loving Milk, we recognise that successful postpartum support extends beyond milk supply, latch, and feeding plans.

A mother who feels supported emotionally is often better equipped to navigate the realities of newborn care, infant feeding, pumping, sleep deprivation, and the many decisions that come with raising a baby.

This is why our approach combines:

    🤱 IBCLC Lactation Support

    • Breastfeeding support

    • Low milk supply support

    • Pumping support

    • Bottle feeding assessments

    • Formula feeding guidance

    • Feeding transitions

    🌸 Motherhood Coaching

    • Emotional wellbeing support

    • Confidence building

    • Managing overwhelm

    • Postpartum adjustment

    • Work-life transitions

    • Personal growth through motherhood

Together, these provide a more comprehensive postpartum support experience for Singapore families.

Please note: Motherhood Life Coaching sessions are coaching-focused and are not a substitute for IBCLC consultations. Clinical feeding questions, lactation assessments, and infant feeding management should be discussed during lactation consultations or through package text support. This allows mothers to fully benefit from both the coaching and clinical support components of the programme.

“Five words - Eliza saved my breastfeeding life. Engaging her was the most significant turning point that allowed me to reconnect and bond with my baby through nursing.

She always encouraged me to do what I could manage and always spoke with me with understanding and patience.”

Tarn

“I would like to give Eliza a big credit for helping me go through the start of my breastfeeding journey.

I am so blessed to get to know her, and that's one of the reasons I breastfed my son almost until he was 15 months old. What a great achievement I had.”

Frequently Asked Questions About General Postpartum Support & Lactation Support

  • Many Singapore families benefit from having both.

A confinement nanny provides practical support with newborn care, maternal recovery, meals, and daily routines during the confinement period.

An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is a healthcare professional trained in clinical lactation and infant feeding assessment. An IBCLC can assess latch, milk transfer, pumping effectiveness, oral function, feeding behaviour, bottle feeding, formula feeding plans, and other factors that may affect feeding outcomes.

The support of a confinement nanny is usually temporary. However, feeding challenges often evolve as babies grow, which is why ongoing professional support can be valuable beyond the confinement period.

  • For some families, yes.

However, babies change rapidly during the first few months. New feeding questions and challenges can arise every week.

This ensures you receive the full value of both services and allows dedicated time and space for deeper coaching conversations.

If you are enrolled in the All-In VIP Motherhood Mastery Package, we encourage you to save these discussions for your scheduled coaching sessions, where they can be explored more meaningfully and thoroughly.
