Home Visit Lactation Consultant in Singapore

Getting breastfeeding help shouldn't mean packing up a newborn and leaving the house while you're sore, sleep-deprived, or still physically recovering. A home visit brings an IBCLC to you, so your baby can feed in their normal environment, on their normal schedule, while you get hands-on help exactly where you need it.

Why a home visit works better than a clinic visit for most families

  • Your baby feeds more naturally in a familiar environment, which often makes latch issues easier to observe and fix accurately

  • No travel with a newborn while you're sore or exhausted

  • More time to also look at your actual feeding setup like your chair, pillows, room layout, and adjust what's really being used day to day, not a clinic approximation of it

  • Partners and other caregivers can be present without the clinic's time constraints

What's included in a home visit

  • Full feeding assessment (latch, positioning, milk transfer)

  • Personalised, written care plan

  • 7 days of post-consult text support with a TLM volunteer, with IBCLC backup for clinical questions

If pumping is also part of your situation, we'll check your flange fit and pump setup during the same visit — see our Flange Size Guide for what we're checking and why it matters.

FAQ

How soon can I get a home visit? Within the next day or two.

Do you visit all areas of Singapore? Yes, island-wide.

What should I have ready before the visit? Nothing special, just your baby's normal feeding setup. A rough note of feeding times/duration over the past day or two is helpful but not required.

Should I book a home visit or a virtual consult? See our Home Visit vs Virtual comparison if you're not sure which fits your situation.
